Ichiban Grill Buffet

The food was top notch and great for drive ins from out of town. I really loved the choice of dishes to choose from for the buffet. Definitely a bang for your buck.

Ok, I am a sucker for an all you can eat buffet, especially when it is Chinese. Is it the finest Chinese food you will have ever have, no, but there is so much to choose from you are bound to come up with a delicious and sating combination. All you can eat plus an iced tea cost me $16.99. Chicken, pork, fish, beef fried and sautéed dishes of all kind. Rice, noodles, egg rolls, dumplings, soups and more. Sushi, carved meats, chicken nuggets, vegetables and more. Fresh fruit and Asian desserts. I actually couldn't eat everything I put on my plate and felt very guilty for leaving it. My eyes were bigger than my stomach. It was a fun place and I would totally go back when with a huge appetite.

I wrote my review about an experience I had probably a decade ago. I have not been back, as I was told that they had closed. Please keep that in mind when reading my review.

I travel for work, it's hands down the best buffet in North Carolina ‼ I've been going there for 7 years and have never had a bad experience ‼

We have been here a handful of times, before and after pandemic, and I will say that while there isn't really anything in particular that stands out about this place over others, it is still a solid choice to get that Asian buffet craving filled. Personally, I find the buffet at Mandarin in Clemmons to be superior, but it is also small and limited in availability. Ichiban offers all your expected buffet staples at around expected buffet price. The place itself is in a rather beat parking lot, and the restaurant is huge inside, which serves well to make it feel less crowded even when busy. The inside is average cleanliness for a buffet of this size. You'll find your sticky tables and floors as is typical, but I have yet to be sick after eating here as of yet. If that isn't a ringing endorsement then what is?! Staff seems mostly friendly and on the ball for service as well, despite often being quite busy. If you're in the G-Boro area then this is likely the one for you.

The place was a little busy when we first got there so we had to take a number and wait to be seated. It only took about 2 minutes so no complaints there. When we were seated they took our drink order and by the time we got our food the drinks were on the table. Some of the food was all gone but by round 2 of getting food everything was filled. The food tasted amazing and we will definitely go back soon. The service could have been a little better but I do get them being busy so it was hard to keep refills going. I had to wait over 15 minutes for a refill even though my cup was empty and sitting on the edge of the table.

Great place to fill up on a variety of different foods. Huge buffet filled with fruit, desserts, sushi bar ,and an abundance of Asian food. Plastic gloves are on each end of the bar which was a great way to practice safety during these times. They had signs up that they were understaffed, however, they had wonderful servers who were quick to refill drinks and clear tables. The food was piping hot and food was replaced quickly as they were very busy. Great place to go if you like buffets!
